Before applying for The California Gold Cup, we ask that you read and become familiar with the following California Gold Cup Procedures and Requirements.
The California Gold Cup is an invitational tournament and will only accept applications/registrations from USSF, USYSA and international FIFA affiliated club, league, select, or association boys and girl’s teams as defined by the USYSA and the USSF. The California Gold Cup reserves the right to not select any team whose actions or behavior is deemed not to be in the best interest of youth soccer.

Teams applying will play in their age group and will be playing by birth year.

2007 – U10 (9v9)
2006 – U11 (11v11)
2005 – U12 (11v11
2004 – U13 (11v11)
2003 – U14 (11v11)
2002 – U15 (11v11)
2001 – U16 (11v11)
2000 – U17 (11v11)
1999 – U18 (11v11)
All games will be played at the Stockton, California Fields, and various soccer specific fields in surrounding Cities.
California Gold Cup age groups (U-8 to U-19) will play in divisions of 16, 12, 8 or 4 teams. Each team is guaranteed three (3) games. Bracket play will consist of three (3) games. Saturday and Sunday. Semi-Finals and Finals are on Sunday.
There may in some age groups be 1 or 2 brakets as following Gold Bracket and Silver/Bronze Braket based on the quality and quantity of applicants. If selected, the Competition Committee alone will determine into which flight teams will be placed
Refund Policy: In the event of inclement weather or other circumstances out of the Tournament’s control leading to a Full Event Cancelation, The California Gold Cup may refund a maximum of 25% of the Tournament’s Registration Fees. If teams wildraw from the from the tournament after has been accepted a full registration fee will be forfeited.
